Pink Floyd-The Wall, 1979
What
is this page about? Lots of things. It's about the beach, the valley, and the pool. It's
about sports, especially roller skating, jam skating, outdoors
skating, vertical rollerskating, and skateboarding, and all the special clothes
& gear you have to wear. It's about the
summer that lasted forever, and then had its last day. It's about
remembering what it was like to be really young. It's about the coolest water park that civilization has constructed. It's about looking at things that happened in Europe
and other parts of the world, and being reminded how clothes, shoes, haircuts
and styles appeared in decades past, and participating in the imagination of the future. It's about the excitement of finding something
different on the 'net. It's about everything digital: cameras, computers, the Internet, and media. It's about youth, and beauty. It's about design and art. And yes, it's about love.
It's about trying to figure out and express something that's hard to put words—a feeling or a memory that's
undiscovered.
These are some of my favorite
rollerskating, jamskating, outdoors skating, vertical rollerskating, and skateboarding pics. I
